🏙️ Special Called Virtual Meeting – Peeples Street Elementary Rezoning

Hosted by: City of Atlanta’s Housing Innovation Lab

 

Join us for a special community meeting to discuss the proposed rezoning plan for the Peeples Street Elementary School site. After the Atlanta Public Schools Board voted in September, the City of Atlanta’s Housing Innovation Lab collaborated with the Office of Zoning to design a rezoning proposal introduced by Councilmember Jason Dozier earlier this month.

 

This meeting is dedicated to answering community questions and sharing key details about the proposal.

PURPOSE

  • Influence the enforcement of the zoning laws and design standards of the West End Historic District.
  • Maintain current information on zoning laws in West End and inform the organization of all zoning
    violations and petitions for variances and changes.
  • Maintain positive working relationship with zoning and planning authorities, to include the below
    and other such authorities and applicants:

    • Zoning Review Board (ZRB)
    • Bureau of Buildings
    • Board of Zoning Adjustments (BZA)
    • License Review Board (LRB)
  • Represent the will of the committee and/or general body at official meetings (NPU, Office of Zoning and Development).
