- Kimberly Carlisle introduced herself as candidate for 2nd VP. Formerly sat on LRB. Former WEND Parliamentarian. WEND Public Safety committee several years ago.
- Melba Furlow introduced herself as the candidate for Recording Secretary. Enjoys serving the community. Happy to serve.
- Tony McNeal introduced himself as the candidate for President. Has been on most of the committees and has been involved in writing the bylaws.

- Preservation & Urban Design – Caleb Racicot
(Meets the first and/or third Wednesdays at 6:30 PM, as needed. If you’d like to join, email WENDPreservation@gmail.com)- Need volunteers to help set up meetings about tax credits for historic preservation.

- Transportation – Matt Hawkins
(Meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 PM. For more info, visit the transportation committee page- The Committee Chair attended a transportation-themed event held by the One West End project. The next round of site plans and renderings will be released in the next few weeks.
- Question – Lee St. is being paved for the first time in 10 years. What will the Murphy St crossing look like?
- Zoning – Larry Frazer 7:40
- Re: One West End – On October 18th, the parking lot will reopen at the mall to provide support for Morehouse Homecoming. After that, it will close. We are getting some relief on the corner of Abernathy and Lee. Private security will soon be in place there to guard the equipment.
- There is a zoning application for the Peeples St. from SPI-21 SA7 to SPI-21 SA8.
- Motion from committee to support signing of the MOU with 785 Lee LLC.

- NPU-T General Body is tomorrow at 7pm.
- Terry Ross unanimously reappointed to LRB for 2-year term
- DCP hosting informal mtg at Monday Night Garage to discuss new city zoning ordinance 10/30 from 3-7
- Early voting starts Tuesday Oct 14th.
- The next WEND meeting will be hybrid, at 929 Lee St. Ste A220. We’ll be discussing Peeples St. zoning, amongst other important issues.
