CITY REPRESENTATIVES  & ELECTED OFFICIALS  –  7:10 PM

  • Presentation given on the reason for requesting zoning change at 1200 White St. and the general plans for the site.

PRESIDENT’S REPORT  –  7: 27 PM

• Tour of Homes – Please volunteer and please help sell tickets! Any neighbor who sells 5 or more tickets can get a banner, a street topper, or a sweatshirt. There will be a volunteer meeting this Thursday at 6 at EATS
• Candlelight Concert – September 26th. Avery Wilson is our artist. He played the scarecrow in The Wiz.

• May Revenue: $619.20.
  May Expenses: $12,106.41.

  • Lee+White is doing a night market on the day of the Tour of Homes, so parking will be limited.

• • Zoning – Larry Frazer 8:30 pm. Meets last Monday of every month. Advises on new applications as it relates to development, zoning variances. We work hard to make sure that the voices of the community are heard. We also review alcohol licenses and special permits.
    • Z-26-24. 1200 White St. SW. Rezone fromMRC-3 to I-Mix. Motion from committee is to approve with recommendations.

ELECTED OFFICIALS –  8:02 PM

• ATLDOT has created a resource, Navigate Atlanta for use by the community.
• Commissioner Cutler from Dept of Parks and Rec has resigned. Dep Commissioner Boss is the Interim Commissioner. Once D4 can see the land survey for West End Park, it will work with WEND to look at the findings and move forward on the project.
• On June 8th there will be an interactive budgeting meeting at City Hall.

WRAP-UP & ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Please take the Atlanta Streets Alive survey in order to make sure that the event keeps happening.
