New play equipment and trash receptacles have been installed at Howell Park! Thanks to *Friends of Howell Park*, the Park Pride grant has been completed. Fall Planting was a Success!

Hello All 🌱 we had a great fall planting this past weekend. It was a beautiful fall day and a lot of neighbors stopped by to say hi and some even to help! Thank you to Ben for growing all the winter produce starts at home, thank you to Food Well Alliance for the support and outreach for gardener volunteers, and thank you to Portrait for supplying the coffee! Rose Circle Park: Work day Oct 11

Friends of Rose Circle Park will be partnering again with Food Well Alliance for our fall season edible garden replanting and general maintenance work day.

PURPOSE

  • Collaborate with appropriate city & state officials and inform them of needed actions.
  • Conduct activities that maximize the aesthetic elements and minimize health hazards to residents of the West End.
  • Ensure all streets within the Historic District have “Historic West End” street toppers.
  • Organize and execute clean-up campaigns.
