I’m Brooks Payne, a self proclaimed "Atlanta enthusiast" and planning advocate dedicated to shaping the future of urban development. Currently studying City Planning at Georgia Tech, I’m aligning my education with hands-on experience in civic engagement to contribute to projects that bring people back into the heart of Atlanta. I’m particularly interested in transformative developments like Centennial Yards, the Peeples Project, and South Downtown, which reflect my vision for a more connected and thriving city.
My leadership extends into civic organizations, where I serve as Membership Chair for W.E.N.D., working to improve accessibility, engagement, and transparency within the community. I’m also involved in Atlanta’s growing tech ecosystem as an Associate for Atlanta Tech Week, helping companies and innovators find opportunities to contribute to the city’s dynamic future.
