1) Where can I find information on the LCI? Answer: Here is the link to website http://www.atlantaga.gov/client_resources/government/planning/westend/report.pdfQuestion: 2) What should I do if I see someone renovating without a permit? Answer: a) If you see someone renovating the outside of the house without a permt call Urban Design, 404.330.6200. The owner must have his plans reviewed to make sure it is in line with our historic district. b) If the person, is renovating inside the home you can go to http://www.atlantaga.gov/government/planning_onlinepermits.aspx to see if a permit was issue. Then call 404. 330.6150. c) If you look and the permit is lower than the scope of work being done call inspection at 404.546.1000 or Mike Scott at 404.456.1051, who is the supervisor.
3) Where may I find West End historic guidelines? Answer: The guidelines are on the city's website. Here is the link. http://www.atlantaga.gov/government/boards/districtregulations.aspx In addition WEND has published a book, for purchase ($20.00), that will assist you in understand the guidelines and give you examples. 4) I noticed several houses with a West End flag and a street topper on the porch, where may I purchase these flags and street toppers.
