If it is in the West End and it is ready to show, then it does not matter if it is old new or whatever. But I am not on that committee you guys will have to make that determination.

Well we are up and running. We think we will have the website up by the end of the week.

Tickets will be discounted for WEND members, stay tuned for that. We have our artist Maria Howell. Here is her bio:

Maria Howell Bio
Maria Howell is best known for her signature film performance as the choir soloist in the movie "The Color Purple.” As an actress, she has also worked on TV with George Lucas (Young Indiana Jones’ Chronicles), and Tyler Perry ("Daddy's Little Girls" and “Meet the Browns”). She has appeared in the Lifetime movie, “Living Proof”, starring Harry Connick, Jr., and Lifetime’s hit TV series, “Army Wives”. As a singer, Maria has wowed audiences as the opening act for the legendary Ray Charles, and shared the stage with Earth Wind & Fire's point man, Phillip Bailey. She has also performed in front of the likes of Nancy Wilson, Will Downing, and George Benson. Howell’s music is a collective of sultry, soul... and smooth. She combines sounds such as R&B with jazzy punctuations, sprinkled with tinges of gospel/soul. She performs regularly at Sambuca Jazz Café in Atlanta.
