WEST END ATLANTA

Atlantans Together Against Crime & Cutbacks (ATACC) has been established in response to the wave of violent crime that is taking over our city. Our hope is to be a single voice, promoting Atlanta efforts to increase public safety and bring together organizations working towards a safer metropolitan area. We will assist communities in educating Atlanta residents on crime in their neighborhoods and how they can be a part of the proactive force towards change and progress in urban safety.

You can sign up for our mailing list and be informed about public safety events in your area and other efforts at www.atlantanstogether.org. As well, we have established a Facebook group you can join.

It would be an honor to work with W.E.N.D. to increase the public safety we should all be guaranteed.

Thank you for your interest in our neighborhood association. West End Security Patrol supports your program - no question about it!!!
I cannot speak for WEND, which I am a member of, but crime is definitely one of the biggest problems in our area. I am confident that other residents as well as myself would love to have you at one of our neighborhood meetings to talk about your initiative and ways to improve safety. We are disappointed in the City of Atlanta budget cuts especially the ones influencing public safety.
We face a lot of challenges in the West End area, our fears have been addressed to the City and Police repeatedly, but still City of Atlanta does not seem to be concerned about its residents' security. Definitely we have seen increase in crime recently and I know this first hand because together with a couple other neighbors we manage the West End Security Patrol.
We have right to feel safe in our homes and live in safe communities! It will be an honor to join your efforts and hopefully our voice will be heard by the City officials.

Reclaiming Atlanta’s Neighborhoods!
A Rally for Action, Awareness, & Change.

Monday, January 26th.
5pm - 7pm
Little Five Points, Findley Plaza
Corner of Moreland & Euclid

This will be the first rally of many to bring awareness and change to Atlanta. We will coordinate one rally every month to:

-to reclaim Atlanta’s neighborhoods.
-to build awareness to the growing threat of violent crime in the city.
-to tell communities, businesses, and city leadership it’s time to get creative in finding solutions.

It’s time to reclaim our neighborhoods against the growing threat of crime in Atlanta. From Little Five Points, to Grant Park, to Midtown, the west side, to the metro area and beyond… the time for creative solutions is now.

ATAC will be coordinating with local groups & neighborhood associations in the planning of monthly rallies in different Atlanta neighborhoods. Occurring the LAST MONDAY OF EVERY MONTH we will reclaim a different neighborhood and draw attention to this growing issue.

Signs are welcomed and encouraged. We want to line the streets during rush hour traffic to build awareness to our cause. We suggest, however, that you remain positive in your outlook and come out FOR action, awareness, and change rather than be AGAINST something in particular. Let’s raise awareness within our communities and to our city lawmakers! It’s time to GET CREATIVE as we all come together and rally around the crucial issue of public safety.

We are making a concerted effort to reach out to neighborhood associations, school groups, church groups, and all walks of Atlanta life. This is everyone’s issue. If you have connections in these areas, please contact us.
