West End Remembers Community Day


October 17th

Please join Atlanta Beltline, Inc., Councilmember Cleta Winslow (District 4), the City of Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs and artist Malaika Favorite in painting the mural during the West End Remembers Community Day on Saturday October 17th, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The mural is located on White Street on the Lawton Street Bridge underpass (the closest street address is 1070 White Street). Painting will take place from 9:00 am until noon. Participants will then walk to Gordon-White Park and at 12:30pm there will be a short program to thank all of the volunteers and Councilmember Winslow will treat the crowd to live music and food! The fun lasts until 4:00pm. See attached flyer for more information
