Best neighborhood spots to Trick-or-Treat? 2 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
So we're kinda new around here, and my kid is old enough to trick-or-treat (kinda) for the first time. What are the best places in the 'hood for candy action? We'll also pass out the sugary goodness after we get home, so bring your kids to our place! We've never really had trick-or-treaters before, so we're hoping to get a few this year.

I'm usually home and passing out candy! 917 Rose Circle, at the corner of Rose Circle and Joseph E. Lowery.

If we don't get some child contestants pretty quickly in our jack-o-lantern contest, I'll have more than enough candy for everyone in the neighborhood! Have you thought of carving a pumpkin with your child and entering the contest? Please do!

If you come before dark, I like to take pictures of our neighborhood trick or treaters in their costumes, and may post those on our Rose Circle Community Garden website this year.

We were going to carve pumpkins tonight....I hope that's not too late!
And we'll definitely try to drop by your place

The posting deadline for the pumpkin photos was supposed to be 5:00 today (Wednesday, October 29). However, I may extend that time for the kids' contest to tomorrow night. I can't extend the adult contest because the prize is tickets to a musical concert event tomorrow night (October 30) and I have to get the ticket to the winner tomorrow or tonight.

Trick-or-Treaters were really strong in West End this year. We attacked around twenty of them with our bowl of candies. I am assuming that they will get stronger next year(we have been told that they will) .
