Restaurant is going to be open next to Czarnowski warehouse and close to Gordon White Park. They are planning to open restaurant by the end of this year..

Hello Darek and Vonda- I am the leasing broker for a property located at the corner of McDaniel and Ralph David Abernathy that we have converted into retail/ office space called The Rail Yard. I'm not sure if you are familiar with the project, but we are have been leasing now for around 3 months and are currently at 60% occupied. I ran across your website and was browsing the forums and noticed there were a few topics about the need for neighborhood restaurants, bars and retail spaces. This is exactly what we have been working on at The Rail Yard and working hard to control the selection of tenants. We are trying to have as many community associations and neighborhood committees tour the property and see what we have done with the area and get their feedback in an effort to deliver something they will approve and help succeed.
We are looking for opportunities to share our project and future plans with the folks that will be living with it and hopefully utilizing it. We have been dealing with the leasing side of the project getting it off the ground, that I feel we haven't focused enough on neighborhood involvement. We have also recently listed the Abrams Fixtures building on Northside Dr at I-20 and are currently working on the national marketing effort and would love to let the community know what's going on there as well!

I was hoping that is the direction that White St would go. Those warehouses would make great spaces for restaurants and retail. West End just needed someone brave enough to start things on White St. I can easily see White St becoming a destination strip in the near future. West End has a tremendous amount of retail space. White St alone has more retail then a lot of intown neighborhoods. Can you Imagine the Telecom Center at the corner of Lee and White St being redeveloped? 280,000 sqft of retail in just that building alone! It could be an awesome antiques/flea market or mini King Plow type of development next to a Marta Station. Hey, I guess I'm daydreaming a bit, but can't wait for the new restaurant.

I am so happy to say that the West End has finally getting what it has wanted for a long time. A bar restaurant will be located on White st. (warehouse row). It is in the old Boggs plumbing supply. It is behind the Dunkin donuts across the street from the car wash.
The food will consist of specialty pizza's, pastas, salads etc. We are hoping that a breakfast will develop from this location.
The owners are only using half of the location and are looking for others to rent that can complement their business.
The beer, wine and liquor license is in the process and they expect to open at the end of March. Yeah!
