West End has like many other in-town neighborhoods experienced a period of decline. That is changing! Many people have realized West End is a prime location for a home and a business. Travel time to the busiest airport in the United States is 12 minutes, the neighborhood is 5 minutes from downtown and for sport fans, the Georgia Dome is 3 minutes away..

If that is not enough, it has one of the most active neighborhood associations on the southwest side of Atlanta, which has protected original architecture of most of the homes. The city of Atlanta has also noticed the potential of the West End. West End was chosen to be the first section of the 33 mile beltline trail that will connect Atlanta neighborhoods. The West End trail include an arboretum and is the “model mile” for the 22 mile arboretum that will follow the beltline corridor. The arboretum will be the longest linear arboretum in the world. As gas prices increase West End becomes more attractive. It is a self contained neighborhood. You can walk to banks, shopping, theater, post office and many other things. Last but not least you can walk to MARTA!
